St. Clair is a part of the Great Lakes system, located
near Detroit, in between Lake Huron and Lake Erie. Lake St.
Clair is connected to Lake Huron (to the north) and
Lake Erie (to the south) by the St. Clair River.
Lake St. Clair is approximately 430 square miles in
area with an average depth of 11 feet, and a maximum
depth of 21 feet.

St. Clair fishing species include: Walleye, Muskie,
Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Bluegill, Sturgeon, Salmon, Trout
and Steelhead. Muskie and Bass fishing on Lake St. Clair
is often considered World Class.

Fishing Report
The ice is back so anglers are fishing the shallow
waters. Panfish are hitting off Metro Beach and fair
to good bluegill and perch action was reported in
Anchor Bay. Try minnows, spikes or wax worms.
